  • Rose EO – 1.5 oz Location - Box 2

  • Cedarwood EO – 3.5 oz Location - Box 2

Note* The estimated need for 220 people is around 4 oz but because of size limitations, you have been provided with around 10 oz. This means guests can use more but we don’t encourage going overboard because too many oils can irritate the skin. These oils are for external use ONLY. The event organizer can take these oils home and use them in diffusers, candles, household cleaners, and more! (Please note that if you have pets, some oils should be limited in the home.)

Setup Instructions

This is a step-by-step guide on how to set up your bath salt bar with some added context that we’ve learned over time but feel free to make any adjustments based on your event!

Step 1: Unpack & Prep

✅ Open the 5-gallon buckets with the provided lid opener and transfer epsom and dead sea salts into them for easy under-table storage and refilling.
✅ Unpack and place gold scoops next to salt jars for easy transfer.
✅ Unbox the large glass jars for the tabletop display.

Step 2: Fill Display Jars

Oils: There are a couple of options for your oils. You can leave them in the jars they came in and use the display droppers with the original bottles OR you can transfer them into the display vials labeled with the name of each EO using the provided funnel.

Salts: Pour each type of salt into its labeled 2-gallon jar (don’t forget to remove the white paper first!). *Note that the pink himalayan salt is mixed between fine and coarse so you can alternate the two types or do one on top and the other on the bottom. We recommend alternating or mixing.
Florals: Pour each dried botanical into its labeled 1-gallon jar.

Step 3: Arrange the Display

✅ Set up the Welcome Poster and Instruction Poster in visible areas.
✅ Place Ingredient Description Cards next to the corresponding jars for an educational touch.

Step 4: Organize the Flow

✅ Stack the 6 oz glass jars at the beginning of the table for easy grab-and-go access.
✅ Position Recipe Cards and the optional additional Instruction Card nearby so guests can select their desired blend before starting.

Step 5: Essential Oils & Final Touches

✅ Place the essential oils at the end of the line—this is the final step in layering the jars.
✅ Lay out the muslin bags near the end for guests to package their creations.
✅ Position gold scoops inside or beside the salt jars, and bamboo tongs next to the floral jars for easy handling.

Step 6: Packing It All Up

✅ The final result for your guests is their jar, wooden spoon, and recipe card all wrapped up in their muslin bag so they are only carrying one item away!

Pro Tips for a Smooth Experience

Choose Your Flow!

Guests will want to alternate salts and florals, so set up the jars in a way that allows for back-and-forth movement. Options:

  • Layered Flow: Salt → Floral → Salt → Floral

  • Sectioned Flow: All salts first, then all florals.

Adjust For Crowds!

If the line gets too chaotic, consider guiding guests through one recipe at a time in a structured order. While this isn't the ideal creative experience, we know that events require flexibility and quick thinking!

Now you're ready to create a beautiful and functional bath salt bar!

Let guests explore, blend, and enjoy a hands-on, sensory experience they'll remember. 🌿💫
